What is nutrition coaching?

Food that supports your body.

Nutrition coaching isn't about bans and diets. It's about understanding what your body actually needs — and making it easy to eat in a way that makes your training pay off.

We get to know your everyday life first. Then we find the few changes that matter most for you, and fit them in where they actually have room.

It starts with an initial assessment. Before we recommend anything, we ask about your everyday life — how you eat today, how you train and recover, and what gets in the way. Together we pick the couple of areas worth focusing on, and set goals based on those priorities.

What you get:

  • Guidance from an exercise physiologist and nutrition coach
  • A simple review of what you actually eat today
  • Concrete recommendations that fit your everyday life
  • Follow-up and adjustments along the way

How it works

Four steps — from conversation to habit.

You meet a nutrition coach who starts from your everyday life — not a template. We agree on what it takes, and follow it up along the way.

Initial consultation

We get to know you: your everyday life, eating habits, training, sleep and what you really want to achieve.

Assessment

We look at what you eat today, how it relates to your training, and what can be adjusted without making life more difficult.

Your plan

You get concrete recommendations that suit you — not an off-the-shelf diet. Simple changes you can stick to in everyday life.

Follow-up

We adjust along the way. If your everyday life changes, the plan changes.

Inside the first conversation

What we ask about

The first conversation is an initial assessment. We ask about:

  • Typical daily eating patterns
  • Cooking skills and preferences
  • Work schedule
  • Energy levels
  • Recovery from training
  • Weight goals (if relevant)
  • Stomach and gut issues
  • Relationship with food
  • Barriers to healthy eating

Identify priorities

We talk through your habits and agree on a couple of areas to focus on — the ones where a change is necessary, and where it will make the biggest difference.

Set goals

Based on those priorities, we set goals you can actually measure — small enough to be realistic, concrete enough to know when you've reached them.

Who guides you?

Two nutrition coaches — one conversation that fits you.

You meet one of us through the whole process — from the first conversation to follow-up. Margaret holds her consultations in English.

Why does diet matter?

Your training gets so much better.

You can train smart for hours — but if your food doesn't support your body, you'll notice. Both in your results and in how you feel between sessions.

  • The right fuel makes your training pay off more — strength, endurance and recovery.
  • A diet that suits you makes it easier to maintain changes over time.
  • You don't have to take a position on everything — only on what matters to you.

This is for you if

You don't have to start from scratch.

Many people come to us because they wonder why their training isn't paying off. Often the answer lies in the food.

You train, but don't see the results

The training is in place. What's missing is often the food around it — and it's rarely as complicated as it sounds.

You want to eat healthier without dieting

You don't need a new set of rules. You need an everyday way of eating that you can actually live with.

You want to build muscle or lose fat

Body composition is largely determined by diet. We plan your food so that it supports your goal.

You want to understand what really matters

No need to deal with all the nutrition advice you don't need. We focus on what actually matters for you.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is nutrition coaching?

Nutrition coaching is individual follow-up where we look at how you actually eat today and what can be adjusted — based on your everyday life, your training and your goals. You get concrete, practical recommendations, not a generic diet.

Who provides the guidance?

The guidance is provided by our exercise physiologist and nutrition coach — with a master's degree in exercise physiology and a certification in nutrition coaching.

Do I need a specific goal to get started?

No. Some want to build muscle, some want to eat healthier, some want to understand why their training isn't paying off. The starting point is yours.

Will I get a diet plan?

You get a plan that suits you. We rarely make strict diet plans — instead, concrete changes to meals, portions and routines you can stick to in a normal everyday life.

Can I combine nutrition coaching with personal training?

Yes — and that's often where the best results come. Many of our clients have nutrition as part of a training programme, where training and diet are planned together.

How long does a consultation take?

A first consultation takes about 45 minutes. After that we follow up with short sessions along the way, at the pace that suits you.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on whether you want nutrition coaching on its own or as part of a training programme. Get in touch and we'll find the right set-up for you.
